Cat Tracks Studio

           Cat Tracks Studio is located in Westminster, Maryland.

           The studio is surrounded by many gardens which are a constant

           source of  inspiration for my art work.

           Much of my work is done on silk, and has a floral and feline

           theme.

           I also work with the 18th century technique of Tinsel Painting. 

           Tinsel Painting is done in reverse on glass using opaque paint

           and transparent stains. A sheet of foil (which the English called

           tinsel) is pieced behind the transparent part of the painting,

           which gives it a shimmer effect when light reflects off the painting.

           I am also writing and illustrating childrens books about the

           adventures of my two Siamese cats that share the studio with me.
